Josh Mellody aka Zomboy, born in Penzance, England. He’s been described as the UK’s answer to Skrillex and judging by the impact he’s had on the Dubstep scene during his short time as an artist, he’ll be around for a long time yet. Signed currently to fellow Dubstep artist Skism’s ‘Never Say Die’ label, Zomboy’s first EP ‘Game Time’ released on the 8th of August 2011, is hopefully going to be the first of many excellent releases. Citing Skrillex, Feed Me, Dodge & Fuski and Bare Noize as just some of his inspirations, his similarity to Skrillex, his Danny Byrd-esque vocal sample style mixed with low frequency beats and easy-flowing openings make all of Zomboy’s tracks and remixes so, so filthy. Definitely an artist to keep an eye on, and an ear out for.

What do you think?
